The Story of Water Hoodie

We’re the Stewarts — a beach-loving, Jesus-following family from sunny Pensacola, Florida.

Water Hoodie was born out of sunshine, saltwater, and a whole lot of sweat. As parents, we couldn’t find lightweight hoodies that kept our boys cool and protected during long days on the boat, at the beach, or paddleboarding in the Florida heat… so we made our own.

Inspired by Matthew 14:29 — when Peter steps out of the boat to walk toward Jesus — our first hoodie was a faith step, too. It’s a reminder to move through life boldly, even when it’s uncomfortable.

We design every hoodie to keep you covered — physically and spiritually — wherever your feet (or fins) take you.

Oh, and yes — that’s Walker the Sasquatch you’ve seen roaming around. He’s our furry mascot and the only Sasquatch you’ll probably ever spot, thanks to his Water Hoodie! He’s always ready for an outdoor adventure and reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously. After all, we’re selling sun shirts for families — how fun is that?!
